Remote Medical International recently partnered with Carbonfund.org, the country’s leading carbon solutions organization, to offset our carbon emmissions. This commitment places us as an environmental leader in the Northwest and demonstrates proactive steps being taken in the fight against global climate change.
At Remote Medical International, we’re very concerned with global warming. Considering the implications of climate change, carbon offsets through Carbonfund.org are a natural extension of the work we do.
“I believe strongly in corporate responsibility, and as a company we strive to ensure both our staff and environment are taken care of in a sustainable way” says Remote Medical International CEO Andrew Cull. “In that commitment, we have significantly limited our paper use, provide shower facilities for bike-commuters, use low-energy lighting, use blackle, and allow staff to work from home. We needed a way to account for the number of flights and driving to wilderness medicine courses, and we now can at least offset those emissions. I am very excited about the partnership between Remote Medical International and Carbonfund.org.”
