Remote Medical International® would like to invite staff and friends to our local watering hole, the Boxcar Alehouse in Magnolia on Tuesday, May 29th from 5-7pm to hear stories from Team Epoch’s adventures and to wish them luck on the next leg of their journey up to Alaska by kayak.
Beginning in October 2011, Team Epoch embarked on an ambitious 10,000 mile, multi-year, human-powered to turn their dreams of adventure into reality and inspire others along the way. With medical support provided by Remote Medical International, Team Epoch successfully competed in a 3,000 mile rowing race across the Atlantic, followed by a journey by bike up the west coast from Mexico to Seattle. At the beginning of June, Team Epoch will be departing from Seattle by sea kayak for a 1,300 mile paddle to Alaska up the Inside Passage. Once the paddling leg of the journey is completed, Team Epoch will lace up their boots and hike the Pacific Coast Trail.
